The Stock Market goes in 1 of 3 directions. It goes up. It goes down. Then the cruelest move of all – It goes sideways. Sideways is where the market goes back and forth. That is what has been happening now for over 12 months and that is a long time.
It creates confusion for the investor. Investors see periods where the market goes up. Then they see periods where the market goes down. Never direction lasts for long. This typically what you see when the market is changing directions.
This is a chart of the S&P 500 going back and forth over the last 12 months.
There has been a lot of movement and very little progress. The reality is that this will not go on forever. The market will get going in one direction or another. The question is will you be ready for it. Will you have a Plan A where the market goes up or a Plan B where the market goes down? That is the question.
It looks like to me this next move is going to be good. Most people are invested in Plan A. However, do you need a Plan B strategy? If so, let’s talk – Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me about your situation or you are welcome to call at 972-386-0384.
